2024 Colorado

Wine Festivals

Colorado wine festivals abound between its two AVAs, mountain resort, and front range urban communities. Ranked 15th in the nation per capita doesn’t hurt either.

There is a wide variety of festivals from high-end events such as the Aspen Food and Wine Classic and Vail Wine Classic to country and lower-key happenings in Colorado’s AVAs such as the West Elks Wine Trail (West Elks AVA) and Colorado Mountain Wine Fest (Grand Valley AVA)—voted Best Wine Festival in the Nation by USA Today 10Best in 2017. Events that are sponsored and occur within Colorado’s AVAs orient specifically to Colorado wines, while many of the other events may have Colorado wine but orient to American and International offerings.
