Cañon City-based Winery at Holy Cross Abbey places three red wines at Yellowstone National Park’s restaurants and lodges for the 2025 season
The Winery at Holy Cross Abbey announced its wines will be available in Yellowstone National Park for the 2025 season. The placement is a first for a Colorado winery.
According to a release from Holy Cross, “The prized placement was made possible by winery consultant Victoria Roberts, an expert in developing businesses and growing sales for vineyards and wineries, focusing on large chains and national expansion.”
Roberts stated, “We are very excited about partnering with, and being served in, such a prestigious venue. We support National Parks Resorts in selling the best America has to offer.”
Three wines initially will be available at Yellowstone’s lodges and restaurants. This includes the Old Faithful Inn and Lake Yellowstone Hotel, as well as the Mammoth Hotel Dining Room, the first 4-Star Green Restaurant Association-certified restaurant in a National Park.
The Abbey wines selected to be served in eight locations throughout the park are Merlot, Syrah, and “The Theurgist”, a red blend which is part of the winery’s “As Above So Below” brand.
The wines were chosen for their varietal expressions and versatility, pairing with the upscale cuisine offered in the dining rooms and with the more casual fare offered in the park’s lounges and bars.
